Intrigued by the trailer and by Josh Dallas' presence (Once Upon A Time), I watched in particular the first episode to see how the beginning was, because it sounded like it might be very similar to Lost.
I kept on watching because in every episode you have a plot twist/revelation that really forces you to watch another one. I watched it on TV, but it sounds really good for binge-watching! If feel like you could watch several episodes in a row!
The plot: Montego Air Flight 828 (yes, I know, 8 is not a good number: Oceanic was 815) experiences a turbolence. When it lands, passengers discover that five years have passed and they were presumed dead. They have to reintegrate to their lives, which are not the same anymore. And, more important, they aren't the same anymore: some have visions, some hear voices. Add a government conspirancy and supernatural phenomena and you have Manifest.
Beware: the season finale will force you to watch the second season!
Noticeable characters:
Grace (Ben's wife) who really has the function of being hated by almost every viewer, but has an impressive improvement in the last 3-4 episodes.
Ziki, because makes us realise how much Jared is jealous about Michaela, or is he (scarily) possessive?

Manifest (Stagione 1) - su Canale 5
Incuriosita dal promo e dal fatto che ci fosse Josh Dallas (C'era una volta - Once upon a time), ho guardato, devo dire, soprattutto la prima puntata per scoprire come gestivano l'inizio perchè messa così, la serie poteva ricordare molto Lost.
Ho continuato a guardarla perchè ci sono dei colpi di scena/rivelazioni a fine puntata che ti "costringono" a voler guardare la puntata successiva.
La trama: il volo 828 (sì, lo so, l'8 non è un buon numero: quello della Oceanic era l'815) attraversa una turbolenza. Quando atterra, i passeggeri scoprono che sono passati 5 anni e che erano stati dati per morti. Devono riprendere in mano le loro vite, che però non sono più le stesse. E, più importante, loro non sono più gli stessi: qualcuno ha delle visioni, qualcuno sente delle voci, aggiungeteci un complotto governativo e dei fenomeni paranormali ed ecco qui che avete Manifest.
Attenzione: il finale di stagione vi obbligherà a voler vedere la seconda stagione!
Personaggi da evidenziare:
Grace (la moglie di Ben) perchè sembra avere davvero la funzione di essere odiata da tutti gli spettatori, ma ha un miglioramento impressionante negli ultimi 3-4 episodi.
Ziki, perchè ci fa capire quanto Jared sia geloso di Michaela, o (paurosamente) possessivo?

Asger Holm (Jakob Cedergren who plays inspector Thomas Andreasson in The Sandhamn murders) is a policeman confined to answer to the emergency call line after shooting and killing a boy. The evening before his hearing, he receives the call from a woman called Iben, who can make him understand she's been kidnapped; being able to contact Iben's daughter, Asger understands the kidnapper is her estranged husband.
Will Asger be able to save Iben? Why did her husband kidnap her?
Warning: do not go to Wikipedia, because they're going to spoil the finale, and it would really be a pity!
Note: an american remake is going to star Jake Gyllenhaal.

Asger Holm (Jakob Cedergren che intepreta l'ispettore Thomas Andreasson in Omicidi a Sandhamn) è un poliziotto assegnato a rispondere alle chiamate di emergenza dopo aver sparato ed ucciso un ragazzo. La sera prima dell'udienza, riceve la chiamata di una donna che si chiama Iben, che riesce a fargli capire che è stata rapita; riuscendo a contattare la figlia di Iben, Asger capisce che il rapitore è il marito, dal quale è separata.
Riuscirà Asger a salvare Iben? Perchè suo marito l'ha rapita?
Attenzione: non andate su Wikipedia, perchè vi rivelano il finale, e sarebbe davvero un peccato!
Nota: il remake americano avrà come protagonista Jake Gyllenhaal.
Mindhunter (Season 2) - on Netflix
I was on a Netflix hiatus, but then Mindhunter season 2 came out, so I had to renew the subscription ... so you can understand I liked season 1 and couldn't wait for it!
If you have never watched it, let's say (to make it short) that it shows how the BAU portrayed in Criminal Minds was born and the same serial killers that in Criminal Minds are cited as a bibliography are the same that here in Mindhunter are those who are being interviewed to start profiling them.
I'm not spoilering you anything, but let's say it: it's good!
There are of course the cases they have to investigate but this season takes a more personal route into the main characters, making us question what it takes to be a member of this unit, what you need to sacrifice and even what makes a serial killer (Family? Traumas?).
I think Jim Barney (the Atlanta FBI agent) would be a great member of the team, what do you think? And what about Gregg Smith? Does it fit? I mean, I think it's not even in the last episodes and I didn't miss him ...
Mindhunter (Season 2) - su Netflix
Ero in pausa da Netflix, ma poi è uscita la seconda stagione di Manhunter, e ho dovuto subito rinnovare l'abbonamento ... quindi potete capire che la prima stagione mi è piaciuta molto e che non vedevo l'ora che uscisse la seconda!
Se non l'avete mai vista, diciamo che, per farla breve, narra di come sia nata l'Unità di analisi comportamentale che è il soggetto di Criminal Minds. Gli stessi serial killer che sono citati come "bibliografia", qui vengono intervistati per crearne un profilo.
Non vi svelo niente, ma è questa seconda stagione mi è piaciuta molto!
Ci sono, ovviamente, i casi sui quali investigare ma questa stagione prende un corso un po' più personale per i personaggi principali, facendoci chiedere cosa serva per essere un membro di questa unità, cosa bisogna essere disposti a sacrificare ed anche cosa crei un serial killer (La famiglia? Dei traumi?)
Non trovate che Jim Barney (l'agente dell'FBI di Atlanta) sarebbe un ottimo membro della squadra? E riguardo a Gregg Smith, è adatto alla squadra? Voglio dire, negli ultimi episodi praticamente non si vede e io non ne ho sentito la mancanza ...
