Foodie wish list

If you follow me on Instagram you know that a couple of weeks ago, I started a major kitchen magazine decluttering.

In front of my TV, for several evenings, I flipped through years of recipes, kept those that (maybe one day) I'll try, so now I'm left with a pile of clippings that need to be filed ... but I can see light at the end of the tunnel and soon I'm going to have my kitchen library in order.

I noticed how I had marked some recipes in the past, that interest me no more (taste changes?) and I couldn't stop noticing all the kitchen paraphernalia ads, so I thought about putting some of those on a foodie wish list: with the upcoming festivities, might be useful to make some gifts or to start your own wish list!

Let's do it: Decluttering

As fall approaches and hottest temperatures have left us (meaning that sleeveless tops and shorts can go back to the closet), I feel it's really time to declutter.

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I started cleaning kitchen cabinets last month, now it's time to sort out cooking magazines, that have been stealing space from books, next stop: bedroom closet.

For this reason I signed up for Apartment Therapy: The closet cure

And it seems it's time for declutter season, in fact I found other interesting tips for decluttering on Oh Joy! Yesterday's post, who's been decluttering her home recently.

And finally, a good read, again on Apartment Therapy  Why does getting rid of stuff feel so good?

So I will definitely be decluttering this week-end (or at least start to), will you?

Happy (decluttering) week-end!

Daydreaming: London in September

On Monday I went through this post, and you know, it was Monday, I hoped for a nice, calm first day of the week at work, that didn't turn out that way ... and so, I was on Bloglovin', and I saw this picture ...

Charles Pétillon's installation in Covent Garden
Via We are scout
This beautiful installation in Covent Garden, is up until 27th September.

There's no way I can see it in person ... but let's pretend it, let's pretend I can fly to London this month, I discovered several things I could see/do, that are going on (and some are just ending) this month:

Zoe Bradley's installation in Burlington Arcade

Afternoon tea with a free Pimm's cocktail at Royal Garden Hotel offer ends 30th September
British summer garden at the Shard, until 15th September

While the Queen's out ... a visit to Buckingham Palace
Today she's going to become the longest-reigning British head of state!
What about a bit of shopping? It's not September-related but a visit to Emmabridgewater would end up probably with this dish in my shopping bag :)

And you? What would do in London?
E voi cosa fareste a Londra?
